In September of 2016 prolific producer Bonobo embarked on a collaboration with the Brooklyn-based Moroccan Gnawa band, Innov Gnawa. The fruits of their labour was the beautiful piece 'Bambro Koyo Ganda' combining the rich tradition of Gnawa music with Bonobo's lush electronic production. The track was a breakout hit from his 2017 album Migration and is currently nominated for Best Dance Recording in the 2018 Grammy Awards.

Following up on our previous Gnawa sessions in Marrakesh we turn our focus to New York. On January 19th we're celebrating artists that bridge the folkloric and modern electronic traditions. Joining us will be Brooklyn Afrohouse stalwart DJ Sabine, and Wonderwheel Recordings don Nickodemus. On hosting duties will be the amazing Les Nubians.
