Luca Guadagnino's remake of the classic 1977 film follows a young American ballerina, played by Dakota Johnson, who enrols in a prestigious academy, run by a coven of witches, led by Tilda Swinton. A gruesome and grotesque retelling, the 2018 update locates the school to cold war-era Berlin and features a unnerving new score by Thom Yorke.
