Canadian artist Jon Rafman collaborated with Daniel Lopatin aka Oneohtrix Point Never on the soundtrack for his first live-action short film, which was co-produced by Warp. This was the second time the pair had worked together, first collaborating on 2013’s ‘Still life (Beta Male)’, a weirder film on hentai porn and erotic animals. Sticky Drama, which is reminiscent of fantastical role play games and stars a cast of 35 children, connects to Rafman’s larger interest in narrative, memory and digital hybrids. The video is taken from the climax from Rafman’s longer film, depicting children in fantasy battle complete with slime and LED memorial texts. - Francesca Gavin
