London-based artist Dmitri Galitzine loves Elvis. This film is about his attempt to become the top Elvis Tribute Artist in Europe. There is something touching about the adoration of The King and the fact that none of his fans will ever truly replicate their idol. Other of Galitzine’s projects, which often draw on the strange edges of British folk culture and its characters, have included exhibitions about giant vegetable growers and a performance work where he tried to cross the Solent to the Isle of Wight inside a giant pumpkin.
