Second Line Sunday’ is a short film that pays tribute to the Social Aid Street parties in New Orleans. The Second Line Social Clubs are a counterculture community taking the funeral processions typically associated with commemorating death and flipping it on its head to commemorate life, cultural pride and freedom.

Every Sunday these groups unite in a showcase, a dance of liberation. “The Second Line is Showtime. If you got a nice car, you bring your nice car, if you got a nice snake you bring your nice snake, if you got anything else exotic that you think nobody else got, the Second Line in New Orleans is the time to show it” Devence aka Party Boy.
