Pearson Sound: 'Earwig'

Space has always been an integral aspect to Pearson Sound's music. It definitely plays a part in "Earwig," the Hessle Audio man's "first (and maybe last) acid track" from his soon to be released 12" for his own Pearson Sound label. You can spread your arms in the luxurious gaps between the lazy 303 tweaks and stuttering drum rhythms.

This is a concept Leila Ziu explores in her accompanying video, sharply-rendered objects floating at the whim of gravity, whilst various human characters traverse a more grounded path. A simple idea executed very well that has subtle nods to Michel Gondry's classic Daft Punk video.
