For his 12th Loscil album,‘Equivalents,’ Scott Morgan found inspiration in the photography of Alfred Stieglitz, whose early 20thC series of the same name abstracted clouds into opaque, enigmatic new shapes. You could say this is an apt comparison for Morgan’s own smudged ambient output as Loscil and certainly, the dreamy skyline vista visuals of ‘Equivalent 6’ are a fitting partner to the composition.
