HYDRA COSMIC WOMB a film by Agf Hydra and Maurice Andresen

The film presented is part of an archipelago of multidisciplinary approaches, an extract from the HYDRA PHYGITAL programme. Phygital by Agf Hydra focuses on the relationship between consciousness and the physical body, by merging holistic healing techniques with VR, AR, high-frequency sound waves, wearable artefacts and moving image. New processes and expanding relationships blur collective and individual practices, and conduct an evolution of connections between the artist and a variety of collaborators. Accessible technology can be a tool to nurture individuals into a safe space of vulnerability where to build trust in supported, non-verbal communication and primordial experiences. As the film unfolds, the viewer is guided through an expansion of consciousness within the micro-climate of the HYDRA ecosystem. The screen becomes a thin membrane which separates the HYDRA physical reality from its digital reflection: an organic interface, a cosmic womb of healing and self-repair. In this underwater parallel universe, the viewer meditatively explores a self-generating digital landscape. Womb noise echoes accompany hypnotic 3D simulated animations by Maurice Andresen (Object Agency) and a text by Agf Hydra. A strong sense of presence related to the self is unplugged from the constant inbreeding of societal, limiting beliefs and toxic constructions. Hervisions
